The London-based five-piece bring us the follow-up to their debut LP from last year the exquisite The Album Paranoia and there's just as much urgency in the speediness of the release (once again recorded produced and mixed by themselves in their shared house/studio) as there is throughout the record. Modern English Decoration sees the band slightly refining their craft and it is a confident confirmation of their musical output which sits somewhere between the Deerhunter Radiohead Television and Sonic Youth. Ulrika Spacek are one of the best alternative British rock bands about today!
