"'For Jon Hassell' - the new 10" vinyl and digital release by Sylvia & I - features perhaps the clearest example yet of their instant orchestral textures, alongside a second ethereal track. Both were recorded in a private session in July 2021 at the Shoe Factory, in Norwich. The artwork features photography by trumpeter Chris Dowding, with the two tracks mastered by Paul Keeler to emphasise the natural acoustics of the space. The EP is dedicated to the memory and music of influential trumpeter Jon Hassell, and is presented on a beautiful 10" vinyl with design by Norwich-based artist and musician Morris English."
