UK release on Heavenly Recordings for this August 2015 LP originally released in the US on Exploding in Sound. Palehound's singer songwriter Ellen Kempner is in fact a former roommate of Speedy Ortiz's Sadie Dupuis and there are definitely comparisons in their sound. Yet this is an album full of variety and awash with the best sounds of 90's American indie a la Pavement as well as beautiful acoustic tracks and even some guitar noodling accustom to a Mac Demarco track.
