Limited edition coloured vinyl re-press of this instrumental gem from one of our favourite hip-hop producers. After his 2015 breakout album The Good Fight Oddisee aka Amir Mohamed el Khalifa was back with an instrumental follow-up in 2016. Entitled The Odd Tape this release is a perfect thinking man's companion album for cold mornings and warm coffee with significant depth. Oddisee has created his own distinct sound in hip-hop through the years. Seeing himself as an artist above all he has blended influences from 70s soul to modern sampling. Most fans will immediately recognise his signature approach to double time drums and sweeping synths.
