The Tampa Florida band return with their second LP for 4AD and follow up to 2014's misunderstood After The End which we loved over time. For A Corpse Wired For Sound Merchandise stripped back to the core of Carson Cox (vocals electronics) Dave Vassalotti (guitar electronics) and Pat Brady (bass) and travelled to Rosaa Italy where they recorded half the record finishing it off back in Tampa and in Cox's new bases of New York and Berlin. The result is a far more instant and urgent 80's electro-infected post-punk record with just enough light shining through to keep it afloat.
