KITTY PERRIN - FOOTNOTE VINYL (LTD. ED. LP) KITTY PERRIN

30th October 2026

Kitty Perrin explores first love, familial guilt, and queer history in this thoughtful and unflinchingly honest debut. Subverting the typical, introspective “main character energy” that often comes with leaving home, ‘Footnote’ charts the growing feeling of insignificance Perrin experienced throughout her mid-20s whilst removed from the day-to-day struggles of loved ones. The record comes 15 years after Perrin first began songwriting at the age of 11, under the unlikely guidance of a guitarist in the English blues band DR Feelgood. Over the years, her talent for storytelling has been recognised by BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, Clash and the Glastonbury Emerging Talent list. ‘Footnote’ was written and recorded in Norwich, with the help of collaborator and producer David Pye and Perrin’s band of 7 years, with various other local artists lending their talent throughout the project. The result of this community collaboration is an intricate, ambitious and distinctive indiepop record that showcases Perrin’s clear instinct for songwriting. A quietly relatable listen for anyone who doesn’t visit their parents enough.
