Limited edition re-issue of this absolute classic from 1994 that would go on to influence a new generation of punk and rock bands! One of the most popular and successful underground bands of the early-/ mid-'90s was California's Jawbreaker. The band melded raw vocals a driving rhythm section and grinding guitar with complex song structures and literary lyrics forging a distinctive style that has since along with singer and guitarist Blake Schwarzenbach's subsequent band Jets to Brazil influenced a generation of independent music. By the end of 1993 Jawbreaker was in full stride. The band had completed a full US tour in the summer played several shows that October with Nirvana. 24 Hour Revenge Therapy was originally released in early 1994 and was the band's third album. Produced by legendary independent producer Steve Albini (although it is officially credited to Albini's cat Fluss) the record saw the band returning to a more straightforward poppier sound yet still containing their raw punk edge. The result was instant classics that paved the way for a flood of new punk and pop-punk bands as well as alternative rock bands.
