Release Date: 7th April 2017
The London band in love with American indie-rock are back with their 2nd LP following their 2014 debut LP Weird Little Birthday - which had certain tracks that sounded so heavily like the late-great Sparklehorse others like Pavement and also at times like Broken Social Scene. However Happyness managed to get away with it because the tracks were pretty damn great! Write In sees the band channelling another American indie-rock band - this time in the form of Wilco. While the track "Uptrend / Style Raids" is very reminiscent of Nirvana's MTV Unplugged cover of Bowie's "The Man Who Sold The World."
