"dad sports is a three piece bedroom pop band formed in the early hours of the morning, exploring the Ottawa suburbs with only friendship and music to guide them. After releasing a slew of singles in 2019, dad sports dropped “name & place” and “out 4 a breather,” which instantly caught the attention of Spotify and Grand Jury Music, who will be releasing a series of new dad sports singles over the coming months. The band’s sound is notably lo-fi and soft, yet equally high energy and emotionally potent. The group sets themselves apart by their use of electronic drum machines and softly layered vocals to create a warm and nostalgic sound. The band is comprised of Keith McDonald on drums, Alex Keyes on bass, and guitarist/vocalist Miguel Plante."
