The British post-punker’s follow-up to their superb 2012 debut sees them stepping off the reverb and opening up to create expertly crafted tunes. The driving basslines are relentless the drums metronomic the guitars intense and claustrophobic and the vocals are somehow emotion-fuelled but delivered deadpan. The band succeed in carving out their own brand of sound in the most recent posse of 'post-punk' bands - which is no mean feat!
