The band's third LP and second for Hardly Art is their finest yet. With I Used To Spend So Much Time Alone the female indie-rockers now based in Seattle have created a dark yet beautiful record driven by lead-singer Julia Shapiro's introverted lyrics and a lo-fi aesthetic that sway from post-punk grittiness to shoegaze sunniness. Think somewhere between The Breeders and Slowdive.
