The shoegaze legends Slowdive are back 22 years since their last record - 1995's Pygmalian which the band never actually toured when it was originally released. Since the band broke up in 1995 after being dropped from the Creation label they have gone on to achieve cult status as one of the most memorial shoegaze outfits of their time. Their new record the self-titled Slowdive is distinctly the sound of Slowdive but also sees the band treading new ground in a world that has finally caught up with them. This is utter bliss and a must for any shoegaze fan!
