The debut album via Secretly Canadian from the former guitarist of Smith Westerns Max Kakacek and the former singing drummer of Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Smith Westerns Julien Ehrlich. The two met when Ehrlich joined the now defunct Smith Westerns and teamed up after the end of the band and found common ground in the fact they were both going through painful breakups - and the record definitely reflects this. As the fully fledged Whitney (now a sextet) the band conjure up sunny day folk-rock which takes clues from the 60's and 70's but without sounding revivalist or retro.
