The follow up to the Manchester band's 2014 LP the Mercury Prize short-listed gem v2.0. It's another incredible record from Gogo Penguin offering up instrumental jazz pieces which take their cue from electronica 'dance' music. Skittish yet intricate drum patterns and grinding & wandering basslines are set against blissfully melodic piano. It very much is the meeting point between electronica and jazz and it's been described as such with the term 'acoustic electronica'.
