Dirty Projectors' 7th LP is more or less band-leader Dave Longstreth's solo record and sees the ever changing evolving and expanding output from the group progress further. Since the bands' last record 2012's Swing Lo Magellan Longstreth has worked alongside the likes of Rihanna Kanye West and Solange (for whom he produced and contributed to several tracks on her incredible A Seat At The Table) bringing that world of pop production to Dirty Projectors which includes contributions from the likes of Solange and Dawn Richards. The result is an art-pop record that's as complex as it is commanding.
