The Danish alt-rocker's 7th album arrives swiftly after their last outing 2015's + - which is something of a first for a band who usually disappear into the darkness after each release. Visuals was largely written whilst the band were touring + - and experiencing a creative peak. It shows with this being Mew's most concise LP to-date as each song representing its own little chapter and narrative. Twenty years into their career and the Danes are proving that there's a lot of life left in them yet - which is music to the ears of their loyal following.
