Only 500 pressed. Debut full-length LP from the lo-fi bedroom indie-rock band from Indiana via Fat Possum Records. Whereas their previous releases were recorded on four-track tape machines in living rooms and basements Routines marks the band’s first sessions in an actual studio. However the band reverted back to their basement set-up to work with the studio tracks for which some were tweaked slightly whilst others were re-done in order for the band to stay true to themselves. The result is a bittersweet and honest record that sounds both warmly familiar and jarringly distinctive. This is the lo-fi indie soundtrack to your 2017 summer right here - especially for fans of the early hazy recordings of Real Estate Mac Demarco and Ducktails with a bit of The Radio Dept. thrown in for good measure!
