As always there are nods to techno garage jungle noise ambient and many other sub-genres of the dance and electronica movements. Death Peak is the meeting point between the two personalities of Clark - the manic and malfunctioning vs. the accessible and coherent. Or as Clark himself explained: “I love finding the fulcrum between opposites - I want my tracks to have sharp teeth but you want to stroke them too. They sound ancient but beamed in from the future soft corrosive.”
