LIMITED EDITION WHITE 2LP VINYL

Release Date: 8th September 2017

The long awaited 3rd LP from the British electronica duo of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos aka Mount Kimbie is their most boundary-pushing yet and blurs the lines between genres and categories. Love What Survives sees the duo push their influences of punk and specifically post-punk to the fore of their electronic output which already conjures up parts from hip-hop dubstep electronica shoegaze minimalist and indie. The record includes staring guest performances by James Blake (twice) Micachu and the album highlight from King Krule (aka Archy Marshall) on the track 'Blue Train Lines' which optimises their punk progression in which hissing hi-hats build with Krule's gnarly vocals and pulsing synths until the track crescendos into a distorted fast-paced acoustic drumbeat and a driving bassline.
