Michelle Zauner aka Japanese Breakfast follows up her outstanding debut LP from last year Psychopomp with a bigger leap forward into a space in which she explores a sonic landscape of her own design. What started out as a side-project away from her punk band Little Big League whilst she was caring for her dying mother is now fully formed and gives Zauner the licence to be as expansive and expressive as she likes with a crazy amount of influences all wrapped into one record.
